Lisa's Lazy Girl Arugula Salad made with Vege-Sal

Lisa's Lazy Girl Arugula Salad made with Vege-Sal

I get a request for this salad recipe every time I take it to a potluck, so I'm giving you this simple, fast recipe:

The salad dressing is olive oil, balsamic vinegar and the spice "Vege-Sal." So far, I have found only the brand of the spice is important, "Spike Gourmet Natural Seasoning, Vege-Sal, "and I can only find it on Amazon at: https://www.amazon.com/Spike-Gourmet-Natural-Seasoning-Vege-Sal/dp/B000LKYXUC

Otherwise, the salad is pre-washed arugula lettuce, craisins, and toasted slivered almonds.

I toast the almonds on a cookie sheet with nothing on or under them in the oven for about 10 minutes until brown at 350 degrees, but you can buy them pre-toasted.

Before adding the almonds to my salad, I toss the lettuce and craisins with  olive oil, balsamic vinegar and  Vege-Sal. Then, I lay the almonds on top to avoid them getting soggy.

Enjoy (and don't let people know how easy it is)!
