Yet one thing that will never change no matter what our life circumstances or the challenges we face as we get older and wiser, is the value we place on kindness, graciousness, caring, community and camaraderie, which of course can be summed up beautifully and purely as being nice. Sometimes the most beautiful and profound creations are the simplest, the formation of a group of people devoted to being nice."

Bean Salad
- 3 different kinds of canned beans
- chopped red onion
- chopped scallion
- chopped cilantro
- chopped celery
- chopped walnuts and/ or almonds
- sunflower seeds
- sweet raisins or cranberries
Dressing:
- olive oil
- lemon juice
- apple cidar vinegar
- maple syrup
- honey or agave
- cumin
- cayenne
- red pepper flakes
- curry
