How to use Mystic Nice Girls Groupspace and E-mails


If you are a registered Mystic Nice Girl, then you can send an email to the entire group at once. Just address your email to: mysticnicegirls@groupspaces.com. If you are not a registered Mystic Nice Girl, it won't let you send the email so you will need to request to join the group by visiting the website, http://groupspaces.com/MysticNiceGirls, and clicking on the green "Join Group" button on the top right (assuming you are a nice friend of one of the Nice members!). Before joining, however, keep in mind you will get 1 - 4 emails a day as the Nice Girls invite and confirm various events. We try not to send emails that aren't event-related. We can only have 50 members at no charge on the listserve, so if someone rarely comes to events or responds to emails, we eventually remove them from the list.

To access or post information to the Nice Girls website, just go to http://groupspaces.com/MysticNiceGirls  (you have your own sign in and password--add this to your list of passwords to remember).
The website is really a fun place to visit as it is a secure site in which to get to know each other. It is a place that we can add recipes (you can add them to this blog, https://nicegirlsclub.blogspot.com/, but this blog is public), photos, little tid-bits of wisdom and even your photo (which would really help people get to know each other).  Your profile is up to you, only Nice Girls can see it. Most important is your contact information--such as your phone number and email address. This way a Nice Girl can find your contact information if they just want to get in touch with just you and not the rest of the group.

Want to make an announcement? Just log into  http://groupspaces.com/MysticNiceGirls, then click on the announcements tab. It's a great place to post an event.


Here are some suggestions to make your experience better:

Be sure to fill out the entire profile. This way people can call you directly, if they can't show up on Happy Monday, or need a ride, or want you to watch their hamster while they are in Italy or something. 

When you log in you can edit your membership and profile.  This is also where you click on "leave this group" (if your sick, sick, and tired of us -ha). See below

When you are on the membership tab. you will notice that you have two subtabs to choice from 1) all members and 2) managers.  Under those tabs are the words "name" and "email".  Between those words is a little arrow.  If you click that arrow on and off you get two different views, one the members name, and the other with their email address.  Click on name to first find the person you are looking for. 

Another really important thing to click on, while at the "edit your group membership page" is: Email options.  See below.  You want to make sure it says that you want to receive all emails.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR GROUPSPACES--NO MATTER WHICH GROUP YOU WANT TO ENTER: "How to Sign Into Your Club's GroupSpaces Page"

Are you in a club that has a groupspaces page that you don't post on because you don't know how to sign in?  

Nice Girls haven't been signing into our group page because they can't remember the Nice Girls groupspaces password - and for good reason. There is no Nice Girls password! You use your own personal password and email to sign in.

Now that you know there isn't as group password, try signing in with your own email and PW to see if you might already be registered and just forgot the deal. If you can’t get in, you are not registered.
 

It's easy to register. Just follow these simple steps for signing into any groupspaces group.
(These instructions assume that you are already part of a group that has your email address and you have been receiving group emails.)

1. Log onto www.groupspaces.com/nameofmygroup 
This is the Your Group Page.
2. Click Sign In under the green JOIN GROUP box in the right sidebar. 

This brings you to the Create A GroupSpaces Account page.
3. Enter your name and the email you use for Your Group mail. 
(It’s the email your Your Group notices have been going to.)
4. Enter a password. Re-type the password.

(A super secure PW is not required. Passwords containing only letters or only numbers are accepted.)
5. Check the box next to ‘I have read and agree to the terms, and Privacy Policy including Cookies Use. 

(It’s never a bad idea to actually read the terms & privacy policy.)
6. Click the blue SIGN UP box.
7. You are now registered and can sign into Your Group.

Bookmark or save this website to favorites on your smartphone, device, or computer. This makes it easy to find when you have an idea or event you want to post to Your Group. Groups whose members regularly
publish on their GroupSpaces pages tend to be lively groups that with something for everyone.
